About Me

My claim to fame is that I had my first N Scale Layout in 1967  It was set in Germany as Germanoutline was all I could find.  I loved it but was forced to sell it when in 1969 I joined the Royal Navy at the tender age of 15 3/4 !  After years of dreaming and a short time with a G Scale garden railway for my own children I was  re-infected with Model Railways when I crossed the USA on  the legondary Train Number 3 "The Chief" then sped down the Californian Coast on the  Surfliner to San Diego before sampling the delights of "The Coast Starlight" to San Francisco and the "CalifornianZephyr" back to Chicago.

My Model railroad depics the continental divide of the USA and is set in the Art Deco Period of the USA {1930-1960).

Came and explore my "Alternate World" at my web site:-
