A few deisions made and experiments undertaken,  The experiments were attempts to contact my estranged sons, I've sort for them for years now and last night or early this morning in a semi-deam state I actually had an inspiration of how to track them down and it worked!  Wheather any contact will develop is in the Creator's hands, we shall see but it could be a momentus development so I felt it only correct to record it here.

And the decision was that I will sell off the steamers that I collected to run the Branch Line which of course in the last re-build I  decided not to re-build!  I have the small tail chaser layout in my study I showed you all part of in the last Examiner and I shall leve just a enough to roster that line.  It will mean some favorites going like the adorable Atlas old timer wood buring 2-6-0 and a rare early English loco exported to Japan  and modeled by micro-ace .  This particular loco will have a high reserve on it because I love it so much!  I am hoping that by selling these locomotives I'll be able to get the M10,000 when its released in April.
Latest on my clain for my Paypal money back is that I shall know their decision after the 19th and then I'll find out if the shop left any money in their Paypal account which I doubt ... BUT I live in hope!!!

 "KIRC" ........Kitisha Island Railway Company
I would like to echo Peter's view about getting started it was through his inspiration that I decided to go for N scale and like him experimented with different track forms. Once I saw how his Kato Uni-track went and the ease to which you can relay it, also the performance of the locos especially good through the conduction of power made up my mind!
The reason I understand why Uni-track has been developed is because in Japan, railway modellers tend in the main not to have fixed layouts as we do here in the West! The majority are put down on the floor and taken up everytime they are used so a robust form of trackage is needed to cater for this kind of use. None of the British or European systems would stand up to such treatment!
Similarly to Peter I've relaid my small layout several times and the track and locos perform the same each time, yes it is not cheap but then you are paying for its durability and longevity.
As my layout is a small one I've not gone down the road of DCC and probably wont unless I can expand it but my existing home will not allow this. However, it is wonderful when operating Peter's mamoth layout to thrill to the sound of DCC chips especially effective in steam powered locos but have to say disappointing in replicating the appropriate diesel sounds!
As far as KIRC is concerned please watch out soon for some new arrivals in the next 6 weeks!

Welcome
